Online fashion portal abof.com, owned by Aditya Birla Group, recently has joined hands with IBM to introduce a 3D virtual trial-room for a personalized shopping experience which targets to millennial shoppers.
The exclusive virtual room is powered by IBM with the integrated technology from business partner Metail. Loaded with numerous features, one if its wonder feature enables customers to input their body measurements and virtually try any apparel before placing an order.
According to IBM “The average return rate in the apparel industry is 20%. After the virtual trial-room was launched, the product return rate is nearly zero for abof.com.”
