Google launched it Chromecast and Chromecast Audio in India at Rs 3,399

Google recently launched its latest Chromecast and Chromecast Audio devices in India for Rs 3,399. Both the devices were launched along with the Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P smartphone last year in October.
Like the earlier version, the new Chromecast device can also convert any TV into a smart TV. The device helps in streaming video content to larger screens via Wi-Fi. The new model sports better hardware and supports all latest Wi-Fi technologies.

The main USP of the new Chromecast device over the older variant is better Wi-Fi connectivity. Also, Google has improved on its caching technologies, so, the new dongle doesn’t need more in-built flash storage. The original Chromecast came with 2GB of flash storage while the new version comes with just 256MB.
On the other hand, the Chromecast Audio basically helps Android smartphone users to stream music to any speaker wirelessly over Wi-Fi. The main USP is that it works independently and offers better range than other Bluetooth adapters which convert normal wired speakers into Bluetooth speakers.

Both the Chromecast devices will be available from today on Flipkart, Snapdeal, PayTM, Reliance Digital and Croma. Introductory offers include six months of free Saavn Pro and HOOQ subscriptions
