The manufacturing company Century Die supports VSCTC

siliconreview The manufacturing company Century Die supports VSCTC

Smart phones are part and parcel of life, so is the mobile technology. The US manufacturing giant Century Die offers a big support for Vanguard's mobile technology lab. The Vanguard-Sentinel Career and Technology Centers are joint vocational schools located in Fremont, Ohio and Tiffin, Ohio. Vanguard Tech Center is located in Fremont, adjacent to Fremont Ross High School. It serves school districts primarily located in Ottawa, Sandusky, Seneca, Wood, and Wyandot counties, with parts of Crawford, Hancock, and Huron. Century Die has been the community partners of VSCTC from long time back.

The American Mold Builders Association selected Tim Myers, Century Die's general manager, in October as the first place winner in its Educational Outreach Champion contest. As the AMBA contest's winner, Myers asked that the group's $3,000 award be put toward Vanguard's AIM Mobile Career Technology Lab, which offers students at 13 associate schools an opportunity to get an up-close look at manufacturing careers available in the region. It wasn’t long back the state's Straight A Fund Governing Board awarded a $882,929 grant to Vanguard, back in June 2016. The money will be invested in the advancement of robotic and Advanced Manufacturing Technology Education Collaborative program so that the children will be well equipped with the technical things. The company is also planning to introduce a mobile career tech lab to support the students and to target them and classify them accordingly into the related fields of technology.
