Duomov, iPhone’s new invention is beneficent

siliconreview Duomov, iPhone’s new invention is beneficent

iPhone has launched a new app namely Duomov, it is downloadable for free on iTunes store. All you require is a Wi-Fi connection and a friend nearby. How does it work?

It works by sending request to your friend then, both of you start recording. You won’t have to be on the same network as your companion, they won’t have to do anything to connect to you other than have Wi-fi enabled and accept the request. Well, the audio is synced automatically so nothing much has to be done to get two different viewpoints of the same thing. It does not require any connection apart from those who have installed the application.

You and your friend both open your app, one of you initiates the recording request, the other accepts it, and you both are recording video that will be seamlessly stitched into a split-screen output recording with synchronized sound. It’s easy, which makes it elegant.

It is surprising that the app, which went from planning to being authorized by Apple in less than 30 days, was the result of a two-man development team: Raphael Cruzeiro and Pedro Marques. This is a smooth and functional application which supports 27 languages in just 29 days.
