OnePlus teases OnePlus 5 with a camera sample on Twitter

Chinese smartphone manufacturer, OnePlus recently has announced the revisit of ‘Lab’ to test the camera of its future flagship, the OnePlus 5. The Smartphone photographers can submit three of their best shots in the application form to win a mark in the review team of the upcoming smartphone. The ‘Lab’ is a way for OnePlus to crowd accumulate advice on the excellence of the camera.

In order to submit application for a spot on the review team, a user just need to follow ‘@oneplustech’, the official Instagram account of OnePlus on the image sharing platform and sign in on the application website by using Instagram. The form will then ask the user to submit three best pictures from their current Instagram account that they have clicked using a smartphone device, together with the model of the smartphone, the place and country of the image and whether the image has been abridged before submission. The OnePlus design team then will take the call by selecting the final ten members for the ‘Lab’ and get in touch with the users. The selected members then will get early access of the OnePlus 5 before the launch of the device and they will start their ‘activities’ with The Lab.

Previously, the company teased camera samples of the OnePlus 5 on the popular networking site Twitter by posting a contrast shot of a scene shot on two different devices, and asking users to guess what smartphones have been used to take the two images.

As per the company, OnePlus 5 will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, along with other performance optimizations that the company is working on. Also, OnePlus has made an announcement of its partnership with DxO to perk up the camera excellence on the future flagship.
