This feature stands out from the typical data protection tools that require both software and hardware for providing the services. Egnyte protect is being delivered as a service and till now the technology is adopted only by the big enterprise settings.  The service works with Windows file shares, Sharepoint on-prem and of course Egnyte Connect. Sharepoint online (aka Office 365) and OneDrive are on the near-term road map. Dropbox and Box are further down the road. Apart from the file syncing and sharing services offered by the company this service is expected to take it to higher altitudes.
