Gary Vaynerchuk says People Who Care Less about What Other People Think, Tend to Have a Better Life

The sweetest victory is the one that is hard and grueling. It is the one where you set your mind that you are going to fail; again and again. It is the one that requires your heroic efforts to fight against all the odds. And Gary Vaynerchuk is one of those individuals who defeated all the hurdles to become the best.

Serial entrepreneur and CEO and Co-founder of VaynerMedia, Gary Vaynerchuk has taken the world by storm. Known for his unapologetic truth-telling attitude, Gary has become an inspiration for all the aspiring entrepreneurs.

He was born in Babruysk, Belarus, and came to America with his parents. When Gary arrived in the U.S., he lived in a studio apartment in Queens, New York with his whole extended family. And at present, the 42-year-old runs a multimillion-dollar leading digital marketing company, VaynerMedia.

“Everyone is gifted in some way or the other. It’s hard work that sets the champion apart from the mediocre. You can have all the talent in the world, but if you don’t put it to use – it’s useless. On the other hand, you may have little talent – but if you are prepared to put in the hours and do whatever it takes to succeed, you will find a way,” says Gary.

Gary always believed in hustling; hustling hard. And it was one of the key reasons that he succeeded despite his humble beginnings and despite the fact that he was a D and F student during his school.

“To me, it’s just binary. You’re either in or you’re out. Every day between seven-year-old and 18-year-old I was told that I had already lost, that I was a loser because I failed school,” Gary posted on his blog. “But I knew inside that this was not the game that I was going to play. I was ultimately patient. I made it work.”

VaynerMedia today has about 800-employees and has office locations in New York, Los Angeles, London and Chattanooga, Tenn. The company’s clients include some of the prestigious Fortune 500 companies like General Electric, Budweiser, Toyota, Revlon, and Unilever.

Gary is also a best-selling author and with more than 3.5 million fans, he is also one of the “Internet Famous” influencers on the social media inspiring people of all age group across the globe to “Hustle Hard”.

“I’m 42 and I’m just getting started. It doesn’t matter who you are, where you’re from or what you did before now. Each day is an opportunity to deploy your time and energy toward your dream. Think about what you want, reverse engineer that, and then execute.” Gary posted on his blog.

“The game is my life. There will never be a moment to quit. There’s no dollar amount. Nothing you can do to make me stop. The process, the journey, and the hustle is the drug that drives me. It’s my oxygen. It’s what I love, and so every day is going to be the same. 24/7–365”

“While everybody else is hoping and dreaming, I’m going to be executing. You play the short game. I’ll keep playing the long game and it’s time for me to get back to work.” He concluded.
