UAE Traffic Cops Get New Lamborghinis to Play With

What would a government do when it has an enormous reserve of money, you’d think they’d serve all their citizens with free food everyday but apparently what they do is provide their police force with top dollar Lamborghinis to zoom around in.

The vehicles purchased were in collaboration with UAE’s official “Lambo” dealer Al-Jaziri Motors. The country’s government department has lately gained a lot of fame for having some of the best and fastest cars in the world. The collection includes cars of the sort Bugatti Veyron (held the record for being the fastest road legal car for 3 years), Aston Martin One-77, models of McLaren and a Lykan Hypersport.

Ministry of Interior said that Lamborghini will be painted in red and white with slogans engrossed on them, red and white being the traditional colors of the country.

The Lamborghini Aventador that has been put into service accelerates from 0-60 mph in under 3 seconds and its top speed clocks at 350 kmph. It is equipped with a beasty V-12 engine; it is mid-engined to have a stable center of gravity, and it has one of the most complicated aerodynamic designs that not only helps it slip through the air resistance but also adds to its beauty.

The police force also held an auction, selling off confiscated cars and impounded cars.
