23 May, 2018

The Kansas based telecommunication firm, Sprint Corporation has announced the launch of an online marketplace called Sprint Internet of Things factory on Monday. The e-commerce website is created to present trading with a variety of ready-made boxed solutions that will leverage the benefits of IoT for a seamless business.

From family-owned restaurants, medical companies to heavy equipment fleet operators and everything in between, the Sprint IoT Factory is giving business owners the power to easily enhance operations – using IoT technology to track assets and connect what’s most important to them,” said Ivo Rook, SVP, IoT, Sprint.

The new Sprint IoT will provide digitalised pre packed solutions for businesses. With ready-made solutions being delivered within less than two days, there is no need of any IT expert in the process. Users will just need to visit a digital store, and they can find a wide range of options from fridge temperature monitoring in groceries for ensuring the availability of fresh fruits and vegetables to energy saving tools for saving business money.

Many developers are already using this new platform to make daily businesses more productive and efficient. In addition, the businesses will be connected to the latest technology and automate the important operations.

The new digital store will have a wide variety of IoT products which includes a GPS vehicle tracking device and security system for $122 and $10 per month with a keyless smart home lock system for $402 and 13$ per month.
