Pipeline Services

Engineering and Fabrication Services

From strategically located operations in Batam and Dubai, the Engineering Division designs, builds and operates facilities for key players within the oil and gas and utilities industries. Each of these locations contributes to and complements the overall engineering services offering, thereby enabling the company to provide fully integrated solutions to its petrochemical, oil and gas, and power generation clientele. Its services encompass engineering design, procurement, packaging, general fabrication, installation, commissioning as well as operation and maintenance (O&M) services.

Energy Services

Wasco’s Energy Services Division provides solutions for corrosion protection of all critical assets. For new construction, Wasco Energy Services manufactures sacrificial anodes and provides thermal spray coating for structures or pipelines. It also has cost efficient solutions to extend the life of all assets with CathodicProtection Retrofits, pipe and pile protection wrap and flange integrity clamps. Its products include Sacrificial Anodes, Thermal Sprays and much more.

Field Services

Wasco provides significant resources to Field Services projects throughout Australia. With expertise in Field Installation and Asset Support Services (Rotating Equipment and Process Plant), Wasco has delivered exceptional results for major clients including Arrow Energy, Santos, Origin Energy, Xstrata, ERM Power, Jemena and QGC. Key services offered include Well Site facility supply and installation, Gathering System construction, Compression Package supply, installation and Balance of Plant construction and Cross Country Pipeline construction. Wasco also offers after delivery field and offsite service, maintenance and parts for rotating equipment.

Meet the visionary

Chan Cheu Leong is the Managing Director and Group Chief Executive Officer of WSC. He was appointed to the Board of WSC on 22 May 2002. Mr Chan attained a Bachelor of Science (Hon) Degree in Engineering Production in 1974 from the University of Birmingham under a Colombo Plan Award and began his career by joining the Singapore Administrative Service. He left the Ministry of Finance, Singapore in 1976 to pursue his Master in Business Administration from the London Business School.

He has extensive experience in property, manufacturing and financial fields. Mr Chan is a Trustee of Yayasan Wah Seong, a council member of the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers and a member of Sustainable Energy Development Authority (SEDA ) Malaysia. He also sits on the Board of several other private limited companies.
