Do you own a YouTube channel? Are you roasting and insulting people in your videos? If yes, then you might need to think about it again!

Last Monday night, Mexican teen YouTube celeb, Juan Luis Lagunas Rosales was shot and murdered inside a bar in Jalisco. Rosales was a teen Mexican YouTube star known for making videos of him drinking heavily was gunned down after insulting the notorious cartel king, El Mencho on social media.

Juan Luis Lagunas Rosales a.k.a “The Pirate of Culiacán,” was just 17 years old but had a massive fan base and amassed thousands of its followers on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. Rosales used to post pictures and videos of him gulping down bottles of booze or standing alongside scantily clad Latina women, large quantities of marijuana or shiny sports cars. The filthy spoiled teen gained tremendous popularity in the past few years.

In a recent video, The Pirate of Culiacán apparently insulted the 51-year-old Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes who is also known as “El Mencho”, the boss of the most deadly Cartel, Jalisco Nueva Generación. Just a few hours after the video was uploaded, on the same night, four masculine men armed with heavy ammunition stormed into the bar where Rosales was having his time and opened fire at Rosales’s table and executed the teen YouTube star, riddling the guy with as many as 18 bullets.

Investigators are still trying to find out whether the attack was connected to Rosales’ crude comment towards El Mencho or there is a hidden story behind the execution.
