The popular messaging app WhatsApp reportedly has been testing many new features recently in order to make its chats look more amusing and suitable, and another such feature that has come to light. The all new WhatsApp feature allows users to pin the conversations with their favourite contacts to the top to the Chats tab. The all new feature which is as of now being tested on Android is likely to roll out to constant versions of the app soon.

How does it works- The WhatsApp’s all new pinning feature was at first spotted by Android Police and if the user is running on WhatsApp beta for Android versions 2.17.162 or 2.17.163, they will be mainly possible be able to use it. Press on the individual/ group chat they want to pin to tap, and choose the Pin symbol from the top bar. The other options alongside Pin are Delete, Mute, and Archive.

Once the user will pin a chat, it will remain on the top of your chat list, irrespective of the dialogue or conversation timings with the individual or group concerned. Although the user has more recent WhatsApp chats with additional individuals and groups, one will see them after these pinned chats. WhatsApp lets its users to pin a maximum number of three chats, after which it will chuck a notification that 'You can only pin up to 3 chats' if you try to pin another chat.

Well, that’s not all one can also get the option to unpin WhatsApp chats whenever you gratify, by long pressing the option, and disabling the Pin button.
