In a recent buzz it is been announced that Tech giant Apple Inc is working closely with Cisco Systems Inc in order to  assist businesses that chiefly use gear from both companies to avail discount on cybersecurity insurance premiums, said Apple Chief Executive Officer Tim Cook said on recently.

Sharing stage with Cisco CEO, Chuck Robbins, at a Cisco event in Las Vegas, Cook said that the combination of mechanism from the two companies was more protected than the use of challenging technology, such as the Android mobile operating system made by Alphabet Inc’s Google. “The thinking we share here is that if your enterprise or company is using Cisco and Apple, the combination of these should make that (cyber-security) insurance cost significantly less,” Cook said. “This is something we’re going to spend some energy on. You should reap that benefit.”

However, the hardware giant ‘Cisco’ mentioned few details about the endeavor; explain it in a company blog post the two companies were “collaborating with insurance industry heavyweights … to offer more robust policies to our customers.” The company said that very soon it will make systems that will permit incessant security monitoring and for insurers to cross check that the systems are set up as it was planned. The networking major which has progressively moved into cyber security in few years, tinted several other joint labors with Apple. It rolled out a new security app for iPhones meant to guard against so-called phishing attacks, an email with a malicious link sent under the appearance of being legitimate.

Additionally, Cook also said the ‘fast lane’ that had been createdby Cisco in the year 2015 to speed up Internet connections for iPhones on Cisco routers and switches has been extended to Mac computers. Widely popular for its consumer devices, Apple has gripped business users in fresh years, adding additional security features to its iPhones and iPads. In 2015, Cook said Apple was making at least $25 billion a year in revenue selling to businesses.

The tech giant has also embarked on doing joint efforts with enterprise software firms IBM and SAP to cheer up the developers to write business apps for its mobile devices.
