Google arts and culture team along with the Google search engineers have worked together to develop the systems understanding in recognition of artwork. The Google system can give detailed information about the artist who made them, the materials used and the art period they belong to. What's more, for some specific art pieces, you will be able to see high-resolution images straight from Google Arts and Culture. The updates are also in the map view as well. The developers have modified the maps to enhance the visual tour experience and make it more informative.  This new technology has already proven good in bringing refined and relevant results to art related queries.
