Andrew Hotz has been named the Executive Vice President of Worldwide Digital Marketing at Warner Bros. Pictures. The former Google marketing executive will report directly to Chief Data Strategist, JP Richards. He will oversee the division’s domestic and international digital teams and work with marketing executives on the design and deployment of digital campaigns of feature releases from Warner Bros. Pictures and New Line Cinema.

With our strategic partnerships, technology and data, Warner Bros. can reach and interact with entertainment consumers like never before”, Richards said in a statement. “Andrew has an incredible background digital marketing, and we’ll look to him to help us refine and further our digital campaigns, realizing the full potential of our marketing organization as well as the world-class films we market”, he added.
Before joining Warner Bros., Hotz served as Head of Industry at Google, where he managed the relationship between Google/YouTube and NBC Universal while consulting with the studio and the networks on digital marketing efforts. He also managed the global P&G business at Google and worked on Google’s TV Ads business. He started his career in production at DreamWorks Animation after obtaining a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University and a master’s degree from Columbia Business School.
