Say Hello! To Bixby: Samsung Bixby is now available in India

Finally, good news for all the Samsung fans in India, Samsung has finally made its virtual assistance, Bixby available in India. On Friday, the South Korean electronics company has confirmed Bixby’s arrival in India. But the sad part is that, unlike Siri and Google’s Assistance, Samsung’s Bixby doesn’t support a wide range of phones. As of now, only Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+, and the Galaxy Note 8 will offer this amazing functionality.

And those who don’t know what is Bixby - Samsung Bixby is an intelligent, personalized voice interface for your phone. Bixby lets you seamlessly switch between voice and touch modes. Bixby voice is easily activated. Simply press and hold the dedicated Bixby button on the side of your device, say “Bixby”, or tap it on the Bixby home screen to wake it up.

The South Korean electronics company has put months of rigorous efforts at its Research and Development centers in Bangalore, India, its largest R&D facility outside Korea, to understand and adapt to Indian dialects and context. According to Samsung it has thoroughly baked in support for various Indian accents, letting even those customers who have opted for English (US) language, make use of Bixby.
