siliconreview Countdown begins for Cybersecurity Summit 2017

With every passing day the rate of cyber attacks are rapidly increasing and cyber threats are coming from all directions. Many tech giants have already become the victims of disastrous cyber attacks, but the cyber security industry has not given up and is still fighting back.

Minnesota, USA is all set to host the Cybersecurity Summit 2017. The summit will be at Minneapolis Convention Center on October 23-25, 2017. The event will dive into the progress, development and challenges that await us in the future.

Because of the poor cyber security, every level of society is being affected, let it be National, Local or Personal. With just few keystrokes terrorists groups, stateless organizations and a rogue individual can launch a cyber attack from anywhere and can affect a whole nation.

The motive behind the Cyber Security Summit is to produce a multi-stakeholder consortium that brings together industry, government and academic interests in an effort to improve the state of cyber security on both a domestic and international levels.

Dr. Stacey Dixon, Deputy Director, IARPA; Jim Liberskey, President, Barrier 1; Matt Loeb, CEO of ISACA; and Hala Furst, Cybersecurity and Technology Business Liaison, Department Of Homeland Security, Are the featured speakers of the 2017 summit. Along with them 39 other prominent information security pundits will also take sessions on different aspects of Cyber Security.
