Android Users Can Now Use Floating Keyboard Introduced By Google
The Silicon Review
23 October, 2018

The tech giant Google has now released a new feature called the Gboard that will allow all Android users to save space on mobile phones. The ‘Floating Keyboard’ might not be new for some users, but it is said to be similar to an actual keyboard. It will allow the user to have more space and use other features at the same time in other words - multitasking at its best.

Now according to reports by 9to5 Google, this new feature will only be available for users who use the version that is 7.6 and above. The update was first mentioned on October 19 and is now available for all users.

The intention is simple, save more time and save space on the mobile screen. Many have complained that the keyboard overlaps the view of the content due to phones’ screen size. Now it is expected that the floating keyboard will be transparent. Although it is not certain, yet it might happen since the issue that raised this new feature is the lack of visible space. With Gboard’s easy access bar can be used in one hand typing. The Gboard can be moved using a drag bar that will enable the users to move it around the screen. Let us see how Gboard really helps all the phone users.
