Now iOS users can view all of their Gmail accounts in a single inbox

Gmail for iOS is finally getting a unified inbox view. As per the announcement made by Google, the Gmail app will allow the iOS users to manage all of their email accounts in a single inbox. Earlier it was required to click on the top left icon to toggle between different email ids. The iOS app for emailwill now act like the Gmail Android app which already has this feature enabled. The option for universal inbox will appear in the drop-down menu on the left-hand side that says “All inboxes”.

Google confirms that no emails will be shared between accounts in this feature. This is one of the features that are included in G Suite updates. It allows viewing emails from multiple accounts, whether it is work or personal using the Gmail iOS app. This is an amazing feature as it saves time. The update will be available to all Gmail users, whether they are G Suite or non-G-Suite or even third-party IMAP accounts users. It will be rolled out in the next 15 days.

Google has also announced that it has plans to kill inbox by 2019. Although many have questioned the future of inbox, only time will disclose that exactly how Google is planning to innovate the Gmail app.
