Airtame, which creates wireless HDMI solutions for business as well as educational industry, has announced the launch of their second generation hardware product, Airtame 2.
With Airtame 2, one can say goodbye to cables. The first generation Airtame was mostly a screen mirroring solution. However, Airtame 2 is a device for streaming content wirelessly.
Airtame 2 re-imagining how to turn blank screens into smart, collaborative displays and provides much more than a cable-free solution by tapping into digital signage and app integrations.

With a steady growth, Airtame has doubled its revenue two years in a row and recently released four Homescreen apps, simple app integrations for better team collaboration and digital signage. Adding a feather in its cap, Airtame was awarded a €1.15 million EU grant through Horizon 2020.
Priced at $399 per device, Airtame 2 is a step up when compared to the first generation device. It features four times the amount of RAM for fast firmware and software updates, new Wi-Fi chip and 2x the wireless Wi-Fi range. Furthermore, an intuitive LED and a Kensington Lock slot for added security.
