Solinftec to invest $50.6million in the US

Solinftec to invest $50.6million in the US

Solinftec, the Brazilian digital agriculture company has made a new investment announcement. The company will invest $50.6M towards its expansion plan in the US which includes setting up a new Headquarters in West Lafayette, Indiana.

Apart from the expansion plan, by 2022, the company intends to produce up to 334 new, high-wage jobs. In the US, the company will carry out its operations at the Purdue Research Park in Tippecanoe County. By investing in the field of Computer hardware and software, Solinftec aims to expand its innovations in the U.S. and grow its tech-based offerings for its customers

“The U.S. Midwest is core to the company’s strategy; we recognize its importance in the global food and its ag ecosystem. The company is humbled and thrilled to launch its U.S. headquarters out of the state of Indiana,” quoted Renato Hersz, Director of Solinftech’s strategy and corporate development. 

Solinftech’s investment plan comes on the heels of the AgriNovus Agbioscience Innovation Summit.

In the summit, various entrepreneurs and agricultural leaders from different parts of the world will get together. The meeting will target the world’s most critical challenges and will solve them by focusing on implementing solutions towards the development of farmers. It will also unveil the latest innovations for farmers, investors,and stakeholders in the agbioscience.

Solinftec is the second agro-based company which made plans to enter Purdue Research Park in this month.
