Meet Ben, your new cryptocurrency buddy

We all know what chatbots are, they’ve been around since the 90s and now with the penetration of A.I, chatbots have become ever so intelligent.

Meet Ben, a chatbot that solves any query regarding cryptocurrencies through a chat interface. By talking with Ben users can study and understand the workings of cryptocurrencies, get to know about the latest news and also trade cryptocurrencies.

Ben is targeted to reach a crowd who know nothing about cryptocurrencies, by targeting this specific group of people, Ben is avoiding what would’ve been an obvious competition with Coinbase and Circle, two other apps that are targeted at people who are well informed about cryptocurrencies. 

After completing a KYC check (which is also done via chat) users in 21 states can buy and sell Bitcoin, with other states and support for Ethereum, Ripple, and Bitcoin Cash rolling out in the coming months. The startup charges 1% for buys and sells, which is in line or lower than most major exchanges.

Once the process KYC is approved, users from 21 states can trade their Bitcoins as of now, the capability to trade other cryptocurrencies like Ethereum, Ripple, and Bitcoin Cash will be added in the coming months.

Ben will charge you 1% for trading, which is on par with other cryptocurrency services. The app also has a provision to link your friends on your social media platform and view their returns in terms of percentage.

Ben saves the users’ cryptocurrency in the cloud storage but the individual private keys are stored in the users’ personal devices. Ben also provides users with a backup seed, just in case you lose your device.
