Gmail Getting a New Look In the Coming Weeks

Are you getting bored of the same old Gmail? Well, there is good news then.

Tech giant, Google is all set to launch a new design for its Gmail web interface. According to reports, the new design will include several new features that will be made available to all the regular Gmail accounts. Also, with an all-new look, Google is adding features like Smart Reply, the ability to snooze emails, and offline support. Back in 2014, Google redesigned its email service, Gmail for the separate Inbox app, but the mammoth has stuck to the original design so far for its web version.

The news about the Gmail redesigning was first reported by the American technology news and media network, Verge and confirmed in a statement to a digital media website, Mashable.

"We’re working on some of the major updates to Gmail that are still in draft phase," a Google spokesperson explained Mashable. "We need a bit more time to compose ourselves, so we can’t share anything yet - archive this for now, and we’ll let you know when it’s time to hit send."

As of now, Google is not revealing exactly about the new designs, but recently, it launched a new design for Google Calendar. Equipped with modern icons, colors, and cleaner event boxes, Google calendar’s overall design look like the mobile app design and it’s absolutely fine to predict that Gmail will also be updated in a similar way.
