The All-New Red Magic Gaming Smartphone Is Here

siliconreview The All-New Red Magic Gaming Smartphone Is Here

The China-based Smartphone manufacturer, Nubia technology has recently introduced a Smartphone exclusively designed for gaming. Named as Red Magic, the smartphone is expected to be available worldwide by April 26 this year. Till date, Razer Phone was the only gaming Smartphone available in the market, but now with the introduction of this new device by Nubia, the two brands become a direct rival in the same niche.

The specialized gaming Smartphone comes with a large 5.99-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 2,160 x 1,080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9, slim bezels on the sides, and minimum edges at the top and bottom. It has a sleek anodized aluminum frame and rounded corners, while the back sports a prism-like design, higher in the center and lowers on the sides.

Red Magic is powered by Snapdragon 835 processor, 8 GB of RAM, and 128 GB of internal storage space, while there is no microSD support for extra storage. The device runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. Furthermore, the phone includes a 24-megapixel rear camera with a f/1.7 aperture, an 8-megapixel front shooter, 4K video recording capabilities, and a massive 3,800 mAh battery that should deliver a strong performance on a single charge.

For early-bird customers, the price would be $400, but the company has yet to reveal the full price of the handset for those who purchase it later on.
