Finally, after testing the new operating system for more than a week, Google’s phone, One Plus 5T releases Oreo 8.1 oxygenOS beta. The phone is now packed with all the latest Google security updates, new gesture support and gaming optimization for a mesmerizing experience.

Since the gadget is in high demand and the rollout is being carried out in phases, it may take few more days to reach all parts of the world.

The main key feature in this new operating system is the pickup gesture, where the users can pick up a call without sliding the screen button. Other features will include new clock styles, optimization in gaming mode for an immersive experience, power saving mode and many more like general bug fixes and improvements and Android updated patches of 2018-19.

People may note one important thing, i.e. software update is only available for registered One Plus 5T users. Other than OnePlus 5T, the company is likewise seeding Android Oreo 8.1 OxygenOS beta for the OnePlus 5 series. But, it is a higher beta version 6.0. It accompanies bug fixes, security fix, a couple of new highlights to enhance the user's experience.

The OnePlus 5T update is a beta software and the company warns these builds are not as stable as their official OTA, so users should keep that in mind before switching to this version of the OS. Users can also report bugs they find using the bug report forums by posting on the OnePlus forums.
