To Provide Extended Cloud Offerings: CenturyLink Join hands with Oracle

CenturyLink, a Louisiana-based telecommunication company, has made an announcement that it will partner Oracle in order to integrate its cloud offering on Oracle’s Fast Connect infrastructure. The announcement was made public on Tuesday.

“Our integration with Oracle FastConnect provides our customers with a network experience that matches their cloud experience,” said Chris McReynolds, Vice President of Core Network Services, CenturyLink.

With the collaboration, CenturyLink customers will be able to utilize the dedicated and private access of Oracle’s FastConnect infrastructure. They will get most of the benefits through a direct and secured connection without involving the public network, and it will provide a regular service for the users of the tough enterprise workloads.

Currently, Oracle’s Cloud platform provides integrated SaaS application suites for HCM, ERP and CX throughout Asia, Europe and America. Organizations are utilizing Oracle Cloud throughout the globe for fastening the digital transformation which includes customer engagement, business-process efficiency and innovation.

“In today's rapidly changing IT environment, our customers need a network that can adapt with their cloud workloads. Our Ethernet Services connectivity offers real-time network visibility and dynamic bandwidth, providing enterprises with control and scalability across their entire cloud ecosystem,” said Mr. McReynolds.
