Ninebot designs a kit to attach to Segways to convert them into go-karts

Innovation on wheels is not something new! Hoverboards, e-skates, go-karts etc. are some of the coolest wheel designs built for fun and adventure rides. Tech giants like Ninebot are coming up with new ideas to transform vehicles for fun; something to surprise every rider with! Ninebot has reportedly designed a new kit that can convert scooters into go-karts by attaching the kit to it. Sounds fun!

The kit includes seating, front bumper, brakes, rear wheels, and steering wheel, that can be attached to a Segway miniPRO. The seat can be adjusted according to the driver’s height so that both kids and adult can enjoy the retrofitted Segway. Although it is a fun idea, it is not a new hack to convert Segways! Previously, YouTubers have attached the chair to their Segways miniPRO.

According to the reports, Segway-Ninebot is expected to launch its go-kart by July 24^th in Los Angeles a month after it is scheduled to display the e-skates at IFA 2018 in Berlin. Till now, there is no information from the company’s side about price and availability.

Given the company’s track record for injuries, the Segway converted go-karts has doubts and speculations about its safety. The company has assured that the ride is safe even for kids.
