The Silicon Review
20 August, 2018

Adidas has announced a partnership with Twitter to live stream high school football match. The series will be called “Friday Night Stripes”, an eight-match series of football played by high school students. The series will feature “nationally acclaimed” team from California, Nevada, Indiana, Florida, and Georgia. The announcement has been made just after NFL has geared up to start its regular season. The high school football will be streamed in the similar fashion of NFL. The games will be streamed on @adidasFballUS on mobiles phones as well as desktop.

It is happening for the first time that high school football is going to be live streamed. The first game will be streamed on September 7th and it will be played between Cedar Grove of Ellenwood, GA, and McEachern of Powder Springs, GA. The second match will be between Indiana high schools Ben Davis and Warren Central on September 14th. It will be followed by a match between Marietta (Marietta, Georgia) and McEachern on October 12th, and Doral and Chaminade in Florida on October 18th. The announcements of other games have not been made yet.

The commentary of the games will be provided by Courtney Lyle of ESPN and SEC Network. It will be along with analysis from Green Bay Packers player A.J. Hawk, and YouTuber Cameron “Scooter” Magruder.

This is good news for the football fans as they will be able to watch high school football match live!
