Paytm and global tech giant Alibaba partnered to launch AI cloud for developers, startups, and enterprises. The announcement was made public on Monday.

The new platform targets those organizations which are seeking solutions for cloud computing. According to Paytm, the new computing platform will provide different business-centric apps for automation of workflow, connecting messaging, payments and customers without the use of any software or hardware.

Although the data center and cloud services would be delivered in partnership with Alibaba, Paytm made it clear that all the information on companies and enterprises as well as the processing of data would be carried out in India.

Paytm AI platform is packed with marketing automation, which will help to strengthen customer and enterprise relationship across various channels. Enterprises can design their customers lifecycle seamlessly, interaction touch-points, offer unique services, and business rewards. The platform has also created solutions for business which are cost-friendly, includes ready- to- use apps, pre-trained models, computing services, and pattern recognition apps.

Paytm has been maintaining a good relationship with their Chinese counterpart, one of the biggest investors in different ventures. The company has plans to offer messaging solutions for enterprises which will help them to carry out conversations across email, chat, and call or audio-video conference.

“Every organization needs to be AI-enabled. They need access to infrastructure to quickly sandbox their ideas, run through multiple experiments, and iterate the hypothesis without worrying about managing their infrastructure. Our customers’ data is processed and stored locally in India with no access to any third party or investors,” said Sujit Kumar Mishra, vice-president, Paytm.
