Is Samsung's Fold-able Smartphone overpriced?
The Silicon Review
15 June, 2018

Samsung has announced the launch of its new foldable smartphone. Although the date is not fixed, rumor has it that it will be releasing in February 2019 at Mobile World Congress. Along with the launch of Galaxy S10 and S10 Plus a new foldable phone called Samsung Galaxy X will be launched. Many were unaware of the price but according to recent reports, the new Samsung Galaxy X could somewhere be between $1,800- $2,000 that is more than an iPhone X.

Considering the features, it has a 3.5-inch display that will fold out into a 7-inch display. Some even say it is expected to be 7.3 inches as well. It has side shortcut options where you can access certain apps directly and use the phone however you want. Samsung is yet to reveal about the phone’s software features and storage. As it is seen in few recent videos and other reports that many fans have made their own speculations on what features the phone might contain. It is yet to be confirmed though because Samsung is really keeping this information confidential.

Samsung is one of the most successful mobile phone manufacturing companies out there and all its phones in the past have given good results. According to the features it contains, the price is decided and maybe Samsung X is really high priced because it might be carrying some advanced tech. All we can do for now is to wait for our questions to be answered on Feb 2019 at MWC.
