Phononic to Transform the Food and Beverage Retail through Solid-State Cooling Technology

The electronic manufacturing company, Phononic is joining hands with PBV (Pepsi Bottling Ventures), a privately held manufacturer, seller and distributor of Pepsi and Coca-Cola beverages in the US.

The partnership will help the beverage manufacturers to expand the present deployment of Phononic’s Merchandising Refrigerator with the customers.

The portfolio of Phononic also include convenience stores and big box retails which provide food retailers with a substitute for compressor-based refrigerators which are innovative and sustainable. The refrigerators by Phononic have 30 percent more capacity than the rest and can also provide more storage inventory, eventually boosting up the sales and cutting down on replenishment trips. The water which is used in the refrigerators is cleaner and safer than any other refrigerators.

According to VP and GM of Food and Beverage unit of Phononic, the company is excited to join hands with PBV. This partnership will provide the latest solid-state cooling technology to the food retailers and it will improve their margins and selling capabilities. The company’s unrivaled solid-state cooling performance has paved a way for new placement opportunities that unlock new revenue streams and channels.
