Nintendo Rolls out a New Game called Dr Mario world
The Silicon Review
01 Febuary, 2019

Japanese company Nintendo has rolled out a new game called Dr Mario world and users can play it this summer. The company will release the game in 60 countries for both Android and iOS users.

Japan’s messaging app and developer NHS Entertainment has helped Nintendo to create the game that is jointly operated by all of them.

The company first released a game for a smartphone in 2006. It was Super Mario Run. Since, Nintendo has been trying to buckle the traditional mobile game trends in some cases, the release of Super Mario Run witnessed some hits and some misses.

With very limited details about Dr Mario World, the game could fall under the “what works” formula for mobile games: free-to-play and supported by in-app purchases. Since it will be puzzle game, users will be comfortable playing it in a smartphone rather than playing something like Fire Emblem Heroes or Dragalia Lost, the company’s two more complicated mobile titles in the RPG genre.

The company also announced that it was taking some time to release another upcoming game for smartphone later this year. The name of the game is Mario Kart Tour. The release was delayed because the company is improving the quality of the application and has added more content offerings after the launch.

Therefore, it sounds like Nintendo fans will have more games to play this summer. The company is focusing on the gaming space for the past few years in order to capture more users.
