Google Launches Business feature for iOS Users

Google Maps has introduced a new feature for iOS users. The map services platform has included a new feature, where the users will be able to choose their favorite businesses and keep a track of them. The users will get the latest news and updates such as promotions, sales, events, etc., through an app called “For you” in their smartphones.  

There is a similarity between the new feature and Facebook features that allow businesses to communicate directly to each other.  Earlier, the feature was first rolled out for Android users.

The revamped My Business app which was rolled out in fall 2018, allows business owners to share updates through their business portfolio on Google. It can also be utilized by businesses to keep monitoring the customer responses and write messages to Google Maps users in a centralized way.

The new Google Maps updates will be rolled out to the iOS users this week. With that, the users can find places like a store or restaurant and then they can keep track of the place by tapping the follow button on their“For You” tab.

The business will also be able to see their customers through the new updates.

The Follow button is rolling out on Thursday, but releases reaching this large of a user base take time. Users not see the changes immediately, but should soon.

The new feature is really good for people who love to keep themselves updated about the latest businesses.
