PUBG Zombie mode is finally here

PUBG Zombie mode is finally here
The Silicon Review
04 Febuary, 2019

The zombie mode for the smash hit battle royale mobile game PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) is finally here and it is as exciting as ever.  It features matches in Erangel with a smaller than usual play area that alternate between day and night with the day lasting for about six and a half minutes and the night lasting for 2 minutes. The zombies can be found all over the map; in the streets, in the countryside, and in houses and buildings.

Furthermore, there are multiple types of zombies that range from the ones that attack you with their bare hands, some crawl on all fours, and some that spew acid from a distance. The player count is reduced from 100 to 58, which is sort of justified, given that players will have their hands full with the zombies lurking about. What makes the new game mod all the more exciting is the fact that as matches progress, the number of zombies will increase and some of them will be harder to kill. However, there is a consolation. Killing zombies earns the player rewards like ammo, bandages, health packs, and so on.

Zombie bosses appear near the end of the game, usually from the penultimate circle. These bosses are significantly larger than players and definitely a lot harder to kill. But they move and attack rather slowly, making it feasible for players to move and fight, instead of staying in one place. This tactic of moving constantly is what would keep you alive in the mod.

PUBG is one of the bestselling games of all time, with the mobile version having over 400 million players.
