Kdan Mobile Raises $5M Series A for its Content Creation Tools

Taiwan-based startup, Kdan Mobile has recently announced its $5M Series A raised for the development of its content creation tools from investors including W.I. Harper group, Darwin Venture Management, and Accord Ventures.

Kdan raised about $6.5 million till now and the capital would be utilized for product creation, which includes blockchain-based encryptions for documents and real-time collaboration features for enterprise and education users. Also, the financing would be helpful for figuring out the use of Artificial intelligence on its products, as it has started using machine learning algorithms to improve its software.

According to Kdan Mobile, its products have been used more by the customers from the U.S. The firm also has plans to invest money on user acquisition in two of its major markets; the U.S and China. The product that Kdan mobile offers are Creativity 365, software used for mobile animations and video making. The firm has also started offering new subscription plans for business and educational organizations.

“We are seeking new partners that will allow it to establish a bigger presence in markets like Japan,” Founder and CEO, Kenny Su said.
