Samsung has finally launched the world’s first Android foldable smartphone. The phone is called Samsung Galaxy Fold. The company unveiled the smartphone last year.

Galaxy Fold features two displays; cover and main. The cover display has a resolution of 840 x 1960 and main display comes with 1536 x 2152 resolutions. The phone has a flexible polymer-based OLED panel.

The phone’s operating system is powered by a 7nm 64-bit octa-core processor. As per speed is concerned, the phone runs on a 12GB RAM. The storage capacity of the phone has a sustainable space for 512GB. The USB-c ports are located on the right side and the speakers on the left side. And on the top of the right edge, there is the power button and the volume rocker.

Packed with twin batteries of 4,380mAh, the smartphone can give good lasting power. Coming to the camera, the smartphone has six cameras. The cover camera comes with a 10MP (F2.2), the front camera is also equipped with 10MP (F2.2), apart from that it also has an 8MP RGB for depth at F1.9. There is an ultra-wide 6MP at F2.2, 12MP wide-angle camera on the traditional rear; the camera is packed with features like Dual Pixel AF, OIS, and F1.5/F2.4, along with a 12MP telephoto with PDAF, OIS, F2.4,and 2X optical zoom.

The smartphone supports LTE, 4G and 5G networks. Users can buy the smartphone at a cost of $1,980 from April this year.
