Just three months ago a raise of $50 million in Series A funding was done by the e-scooter rentals startup Voi Technology. Now it has added another $30 million to its balance sheet for further growth and development. The present investors - LocalGlobe, Vostok New Ventures, Raine Ventures, and Balderton Capital have participated yet again tagging with new investors Project A and Creandum. This new round sees those loose ends tidied up nicely.

Many other investors also had participated. Names like Keith Richman (board member, Grubhub), Spencer Rascoff (ex-CEO of Zillow), Christian Leone (founder of Luxor Capital) ,  Cristina Stenbeck (Kinnevik), Jeff Wilke (Amazon), Diego Piacentini (Former Head of International Business, Amazon),  Justin Mateen (co-founder of Tinder), SujayJaswa (founder of WndrCo), and SujayTyle (CEO Frontier Car Group).

Voi Technology says the new capital is said to help in the expansion of European production. Further, the company is planning on investing in R&D. It is also claiming to be one of the leading “home-grown” e-scooter rentals company in the current market of the European region in the span of seven months it has garnered a customer base of over 400,000 riders.
