Alcatraz AI is developing Face ID for Offices

The new invention by Alcatraz AI, an American startup, could replace all the badge readers with a camera-based Face-ID for office employees across the world. The company has successfully integrated multiple sensors in order to detect face and unlock doors seamlessly

The new concept by the company will make the authentication less cumbersome since it can prevent the traffic jam that could be caused by the sensor- based fingerprint authentication and secondly it can make the onboarding process for employees easier, sincethe company may require to add their biometric information on the system.

The AI by Alcatraz is committed to delivering a faster badging experience with facial recognition.  Alcatraz badge scans faces to develop a model for future uses, therefore, later on, after a few days of using it;employees can leave it on the office.

There are three different sensors chipped inside the custom hardware. The sensors included are both traditional RGB sensors and infrared sensors for 3D mapping. In order to use the new Face ID, employees of a company must make a payment towards Alcatraz AI, after that, they will get their badge/face readers installed. The companies who would like to use the new platform must make a yearly payment.

The customers of the new Alcatraz AI will get real-time, analytics notifications with tailgating. Therefore, Alcatraz AI can catch someone who tries to sneak inside a secret lab or room throughsomeone who is allowed to enter the space.

The new invention is very good for offices across the world. Currently, the license cost for the product will cost somewhere near the payment made by a company towards its guards.
