MobilityX Rolls Out Zipster, a...MobilityX, a Singapore-based tech startup has rolled a new beta version of Zipster, all in one transportation app. The announcement was made public on Monday.
Now users will be able to get access to several transport options through a single point of access. The services include access to buses, MRT, car sharing services, shared mobility devices, and private hire vehicles.
Along with the new app, the company will also introduce a Zipster card trial. The card can be used for making payments for traveling and avail other Zipster functions.
Payments will be carried out with the help of the app’s integrated payment wallet.
The start-up is looking to integrate three things- journey planning, booking, and payment. With that, the users will be able to compare their desired transportation along with the destination, costs, time, etc within a single platform.
MobilityX has partnerships with companies like Grab, Gojek, bike-sharing platform Anywheel, e-scooter start-up Neuron and EZ-Link, among others. The company has collaborations with AXA Insurance Singapore in order to provide insurance for users. The benefits of the insurance plan include reimbursement for personal accidents, medical expenses, and personal liability.
Other development of the company includes an MOU with OCBC bank; allowing them to integrate the bank’s payments app and help its customers to use OCBC credit and debit cards within Zipster's ecosystem.
The new move by MobilityX has put in a position where they could make themselves one of the best techstartups in Asia.
