SAP, one of the world’s greatest enterprise software providers has announced it will roll out new ‘experience management’ solutions for businesses. The announcement was made public on Tuesday.
Earlier, SAP took over Qualtrics, a US-based software company for $8 billion. Qualtrics is a company that makes experience management (XM) software. Now, after three months, the German company finally unveiled its new launch.
By using the new software, businesses can create an enhanced experience towards its customers, employees, product, and brand. People familiar with the matter said at the company’s Sapphire 2019 conference that operational data [O-data — numbers such as costs, accounting, and sales] was a necessity for businesses to make any business decision.
“But to understand why things happen, you need to understand the thoughts and emotions of the people involved.” This information is called experience data (X-data).
The new solutions pave the way for businesses to integrate X and O data to carry out business decision based on facts and the intangibles.
All total, ten new offerings were unveiled. The customer experience segment has 4 offerings under its belt, while the employee experience segment has 3 offerings and market research segment has 3 offerings. The offerings would put experience data directly into enterprise applications such as CRM and ERP or human capital management (HCM) systems.
The new launch will boost the business in terms of overall operations.
