Sennheiser launches its First Wireless Gaming Headset

Sennheiser launches its First Wireless Gaming Headset
The Silicon Review
10 June, 2019

The German company, Sennheiser, has launched its first ever wireless gaming gear- GSP 670 headset. The product was unveiled at the Computex event in Taipei last week.  The shipping for the headset will begin from July this year across the world.

Priced at €349 (about $393), the headset’s price is significantly high than other popular wireless headsets. GSP 670 is speculated to be a hit because Sennheiser creates top notched headsets with good sound quality.

The headset has a noise cancellation feature in its microphones and can be muted by raising the boom arm. There are two volume wheels in the headset; one for controlling chat audio and the other one to chat game audio. The Bluetooth enables users to connect the headset with their smartphones and tablets.

Users have the option to adjust the audio on the headset with the company’s gaming suite for Windows. The software enables users to switch between audio presents or customize sound levels. The headset also has an equalizer and surround sound mode in it.

The battery life of GSP 670 is quite good; as a quick seven-minute charge can run the headset for 120 minutes of playback. A full charge will give the headset a life of 20 hours in Bluetooth and 16 hours when connected via the GSA 70 dongle. The headset has an automatic shutdown feature for power saving.

Users can connect the headset with a wireless dongle. The product can be pre-orders on the company’s official website.
