Porsche Unleashes New Cayenne E-Hybrid Vehicles

The luxury carmaker, Porsche, has unleashed two new E-vehicles called Cayenne Turbo SE-Hybrid and Cayenne E-hybrid Coupe, which is slated for a 2020 launch.

The stylish and beefy Cayenne Turbo SE-Hybrid Coupe is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine. The electric motor is placed between the engine and the gearbox.

The energy capacity of the car is 30 percent more than the older Cayenne hybrid models, making it more dynamic than others. The car can speed up from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 3.6 seconds due to its meaty 670 horsepower and 663 lb.-ft. of torque.

Priced at $161, 900, Cayenne Turbo SE-Hybrid is packed with some elegant features. The hybrid car has an on-board 7.2 kW charger and 21-inch AeroDesign Wheels. The charger has the capability to fully charge devices within 2.4 hours, the company said.

On the other hand, the Cayenne E-hybrid Coupe is simpler than the SE model. The 8-speed Coupe version is designed with a 455 horsepower and 516 lb.-ft. of torque. The engine is 3.0-liter V6 and the electric motor is placed between the engine and the gearbox.

The car is filled with features such as eight-way power sports seats, a 20-inch alloy wheels, and a fixed glass panoramic roof. The car is priced at $87,750.
