Intel Rolls out New 10th generation Core Processors

Intel has finally rolled out its first 10th generation core processors. With that, PC manufacturers across the globe will be able to design sleek 2 in 1s and laptops, said Intel.

The new 10th generation core processors are powered by Intel’s “Ice Lake” architecture which runs on 10nm+ process technology. The processors are superfast as it brings AI to the PC at scale and supports Wi-Fi 6 for a seamless internet connection.

The “Ice Lake” processors are equipped with 14mn chipset in the same carrier. It also has two or four sunny Cove cores along with Intel’s Gen11 GPU.  Coming to the Graphics, the processors are powered by Iris plus Graphics. The processors double up the graphics performance in 1080p. The graphicsare suitable for gaming, in 4K video editing including the application of video filters and high-resolution photo processing.

One of the Intel’s top levels executive said – “These 10th Gen Intel Core processors shift the paradigm for what it means to deliver leadership in mobile PC platforms”.

This is the first time when Intel has provided broad-scale AI in PCs. Along with that, the company has also included Wi-Fi 6 and Thunderbolt 3 - all integrated onto the SoC (system on chip).

The company stated that systems are likely to be out by PC manufacturers this holiday season.
