As we've already established, smart projectors offer many methods of connecting to external devices like mobile phones and computers. Smart projectors usually have various communication options, including wired connections, Wi-Fi, USB, SD card slots, and Bluetooth.

Voice Command

A smart projector should also accept voice commands. It might use either its own in-house developed voice assistant or an existing one, like Siri, Google Assistant, or Alexa.

To a large extent, current projectors mimic smart televisions' functionality in that they can all process videos inside. In reality, however, these "smart projectors" are within the technical sense, as they run on a different operating system. Be wary of the advertising trap several vendors and manufacturers set up when attempting to sell you a "smart projector," a standard projector with some added bells and whistles.
