Meet the Leader

Ian Mechie, Managing Director: Ian Mechie co-founded Absoft in 1991 and has played a key role in driving the company’s development and shaping the organization. He has worked in the IT industry for more than 30 years, mainly as a consultant helping customers to implement SAP, having become involved in the SAP arena when R/3 was initially released in 1992.

Ian is now focused full time on his role as Managing Director of Absoft whilst remaining abreast of new developments as SAP expands its product portfolio. Away from work, he is a loyal foot soldier in the Tartan Army, enjoys playing golf, and has eclectic tastes in music.
