Know the Key Executive
Kurt Sweetser, Vice President – Kurt has held leadership and management positions throughout his 30 years in the information technology and telecommunications industries. From 1985 to 1995, Sweetser held various positions establishing new enterprise standards and programs enabling and differentiating Southern California Edison’s (SCE) infrastructure capabilities while leading and managing more than 225 represented and non-represented team members across SCE’s 50,000 square miles of service territory. Returning to SCE in 2004 after nine years as VP and general manager with International Network Services/Lucent Technologies where he led more than 225 consultants and sales team members throughout the western United States assisting Fortune 500 organizations, he served ten more years at SCE in execute-level positions, including IT director of business relations, client services and planning, for customer service and power procurement, deployed and led the program office for SCE’s successful SAP ERP solution, and created SCE’s IT Enterprise Demand Management solution. Kurt holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical and computer engineering from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
