Despite the timely ascension of the automotive industry, the vertical leaves a lot of scope for incremental improvements. Starting from lowering traffic accidents to improving vehicle manufacturing and resource deployment, Artificial Intelligence seems like the most probable solution to get things moving skywards. As a majority of the automated tasks rely on visualization and the ability of the intelligent systems to detect anomalies in advance, Computer Vision comes forth as an AI subsidiary trusted to make the automotive sector even more responsive and inventive. As an AI-powered technology, Computer Vision aims at training requisite models for identifying, detecting, classifying images with contextual accuracy. Intelligent cars and automatic vehicle manufacturing units are progressively being hardwired with Computer Vision setups for processing what’s in front of them, with precision. However, these setups need to be trained with exhaustive data sets for the supervised learning technique to take effect and lead to perfect outcomes. In the automotive industry, computer vision is used for inspection of every single detail during production. In simple words, it detects flaws in every single product produced, rejecting the ones which have one. This includes detecting surface detection (finding dents, dings, etc.), and functional flaws

Algolux is one such globally recognized computer vision company addressing the critical issue of safety for advanced driver assistance systems and autonomous vehicles. Its machine-learning tools and embedded AI software products enable existing and new camera designs to achieve industry-leading performance across all driving conditions. Founded on groundbreaking research at the intersection of deep learning, computer vision, and computational imaging, Algolux has been repeatedly recognized at industry and academic conferences.

Offering Best-in-class Computer Vision Solutions

Eos Embedded Perception Software: Eos is an award-winning embedded perception solution that massively improves vision system robustness in all conditions. Its efficient end-to-end deep learning architecture can be quickly personalized to any camera lens/sensor configuration or for multi-sensor fusion. Combined with stereo or depth-sensing cameras, Eos offers an alternative to Lidar at a fraction of the cost. Eos addresses individual NCAP requirements, L2+ ADAS, higher levels of autonomy from highway autopilot and autonomous valet (self-parking) to L4 autonomous vehicles as well as Smart City applications such as video security and fleet management. Eos is built with a highly optimized end-to-end architecture and a novel AI deep learning framework that uniquely addresses the challenges of perception in harsh conditions. This reduces model training cost and time by orders of magnitude and removes sensor/lens lock-in; something not possible with today’s deep learning methods. Eos provides multi-sensor early fusion for L2+ and higher autonomous vehicles and robots. Combined with stereo or depth-sensing cameras, Eos provides an alternative to Lidar at a fraction of the cost.

Atlas Camera Optimization Suite: The Atlas Camera Optimization Suite is the industry’s first set of machine learning tools and workflows that automatically optimize camera architectures for optimal image quality or for computer vision. Through a secure cloud-enabled interface, Atlas significantly improves computer vision results in days vs. traditional approaches that deliver suboptimal results even after many months of manual ISP tuning. Atlas can automatically optimize your camera ISP to maximize computer vision accuracy, something not possible with today’s manual ISP tuning approaches. The Atlas Camera Optimization Suite allows users to automate the painstaking process of expert manual tuning for visual image quality. Flexible, it allows users to leverage their own custom KPIs to embed in the automated optimization process. Perception software enabling end-to-end learning of computer vision systems. The approach allows customers to easily adapt their existing datasets to new system requirements, enabling reuse and reducing effort and cost vs. existing training methodologies.
