he company was founded in the year 2005 by Doug Greise and Dave Svec, both of whom served as consultants and program managers at the global consulting firm, Booz Allen Hamilton. While at Booz Allen Hamilton, Dave and Doug recognized the growing need for a better balance of analytical and technical expertise and tools to manage cybersecurity challenges. Thus, Veris Group was created.

Since its inception, the company’s prime focus has been providing high quality cybersecurity services while building a strong corporate culture, partnerships, and infrastructure to support rapid growth. Veris Group was admitted into the Reston Chamber of Commerce’s INC.spire business incubator program, where it was provided a 100 square foot office space. Since then, the industry-leading, dynamic business has grown substantially. Veris Group’s talented team of security-cleared, industry-certified professionals now operates out of multiple offices to better serve some of the world’s largest public and private organizations.

David Svec – Managing Principal & Co-Founder: As Managing Principal and Co-Founder of Veris Group, David Svec is active in strategic planning, management and strategy execution. Prior to forming Veris Group, David spent several years as a risk management consultant. In addition to his risk management and cybersecurity consulting experience, David has over 15 years of proven sales, marketing, and management experience.

Douglas Greise – Managing Principal & Co-Founder: As Managing Principal and Co-Founder of Veris Group, Douglas brings more than fifteen years of information technology consulting and management experience to the company. Prior to co-founding Veris Group, Douglas was a Booz Allen Hamilton Information Assurance (IA) manager and was part of the IA team.
