“Headquartered in Palo Alto, USA LiveAction is all set to revolutionize the network by establishing itself as the visualization and analytics standard.”

Building networks can be a difficult task when trying to achieve cost-efficient infrastructure, balancing network loads, optimizing bandwidth, all of which require a great deal of careful planning and expertise. However, the real challenge of building networks is managing, or operationalizing, the network in order to keep it running smoothly and securely at all times.

Effective network management is about intelligence and speed: making smart, real-time decisions and responding quickly to changing conditions. Meeting such standards, LiveAction provides enterprise organizations with a solution that simplifies the task of network management.

Founded in 2007 as a Referentia Systems, Inc. company, ActionPacked Networks (now named LiveAction) focused on helping the U.S.

Department of Defense manage and simplify its network. Over time, the company discovered that the commercial marketplace also benefitted from LiveAction’s application-aware, network performance management and Quality of Service (QoS) features.

Today, LiveAction is used by the Global 2000 to manage and optimize their worldwide networks. LiveAction’s software features patented network visualization, real-time big data analytics and deep control of routers, switches and firewalls for an unparalleled network experience.

LiveAction Positioned for the Future of Networking
LiveAction is strongly positioned for several current and key trends in IT. The WAN portion of the network has evolved into a key component for achieving several strategic business initiatives. As more and more services are delivered and consumed from the internet and cloud providers, the success of the WAN has a direct correlation to the success of the business. Increasing customer satisfaction through the deployment of new web enabled services, and increasing employee productivity through the use of similar tools, all rely on an optimized WAN.

LiveAction’s association with Cisco, as the recommended monitoring and service assurance solution for Cisco Intelligent WAN SD-WAN, has also put LiveAction in a strong position to succeed within these IT initiatives.

LiveAction Products: Overview
LiveAction’s LiveNX is a network visualization & analytics platform that simplifies the complexity of monitoring, analyzing, and configuring networking technologies such as: NetFlow, WAN, Quality of Service (QoS), Voice & Video, SD-WAN, and Cisco Intelligent WAN. LiveNX’s interface replaces complicated error-prone command line input with an intuitive graphical user interface. This rich visualization of the network topology, plus in-depth views of individual devices, interfaces, flows and routes shows how traffic traverses the network in real-time and highlights any areas of congestion or possible mis-configuration.

Beyond visualizing flows over the network, the interface also allows IT administrators to drill down into performance metrics and then take action to resolve issues. Customers typically see five-fold reduction in the amount of time it takes to identify and resolve network issues.

Target segments
LiveAction is utilized by enterprise organizations throughout the Fortune 50, 100, and 500. LiveAction’s LiveNX capabilities are ideally suited for organizations that rely heavily on WAN connectivity to operate their business which includes nearly all vertical markets including Retail, Financial, Government, Utilities, Education, Healthcare, Manufacturing, and Transportation.

Surpassing competition
A key strategy of LiveAction has been to focus on developing a reliable product suitable for the toughest environments. Secondly, it’s rich

visualization of the network has helped LiveAction stand out. Interested customers can immediately see the status of their network, and customers who have deployed LiveAction easily gain an understanding of what is really happening. Finally, being added to Cisco’s solutionsPlus program as a Cisco IWAN management solution, and availability on Cisco’s Global Price List, provides customers with easy ordering, simplified processing, and worldwide availability.
