The Silicon Review reached out to Brandon Adams, CEO of Pure Maintenance, and here's what he had to say.

Interview Highlights

Q. What methodology does Pure Maintenance implement to exceed customer expectations?

We strive to create 'A Fresh Start  To A Healthy Home' for people that have had foreign unhealthy microbes enter their homes. We offer a whole home treatment versus a spot treatment that creates microbially healthier environments.

Q. What makes Pure Maintenance successful? What are its focus areas?

Pure Maintenance is in a niche industry that provides a life- changing service. Our service focuses on quality, convenience, and efficiency. The quality of our service ranges from products and inspections to specialized vaporizing technology. The service can be done in a day without causing any damage to the building.

Q. Can you introduce us to your VaPure System? What makes it revolutionary?

VaPure technology is what sets Pure Maintenance apart from the competition. Instead of time- consuming and invasive tear-out methods, tiny particles of a VaPure fog fill the capacity of your home or office, destroying mold spores it contacts for the desired dwell time on the appropriate surface. It is the most thorough and efficient way to restore healthy air quality to your home. The patented technology creates such a small particle that nothing in your home or office remains wet once the process is finished. It is safe for everything in your home, including electronics, papers, photos, upholstery, plants, etc.

Q. What can you tell us aboutyour recently-launched air quality maintenance program, Pure Care? What are its key features?

We recently announced the launch of our air quality maintenance program, Pure Care. The new program intends to ensure consistent and continuous monitoring of air quality inside the premises of an entire facility, whether it's commercial or residential. The package is available at 599 USD and includes comprehensive air quality maintenance of an entire building. As opposed to the conventional practices in the industry, Pure Maintenance seeks to provide a year-long continuous air quality monitoring and mold remediation package through this program. The ultimate intention behind the initiative is to safeguard facilities it has serviced from mold and pathogens by preventing them from reappearing.

Q. Pure Maintenance is growing by leaps and bounds and continues to expand its geographical footprint across continents. What arethe various contributing factors that back the company’s dominant market position?

The uniqueness of our product and service is what sets us apart. Much of the growth of Pure Maintenance across the globe has to do with the health implications of our treatment for those who reside in the treated homes and buildings. There are increasing numbers of people who are becoming ill from the mold in their environments and many have become sensitive to mold. As we learn more about mold, its spores and mycotoxins, we realized that mold travels to virtually every part of the building, in large part because of mold spreaders. Anything short of a comprehensive approach to eradicating mold in the home or building will never produce an environment that is free of unhealthy types or amounts of mold. There is increasing demand for such remediation protocols and many of our previous customers who were sick and/or sensitive to mold have now become our licensees, paying it forward to their own clients now.

Q. Tell us about the Pure Maintenance team. What value do they bring to the company?

The Pure Maintenance team brings a lot of diversity with some locations being worldwide. This allows for a boost in productivity, understanding of customer needs, and a lot more. Pure Maintenance began as a small company in Utah and grew out of humble beginnings. The current Pure Maintenance team comprised many of those same folks who were happy to provide quality service to the local market. The team still maintains a down-to-earth disposition and tries to live by the adage that hangs in the office, "Under promise, over deliver".

Q. What new endeavors is Pure Maintenance currently undertaking?

We have launched a maintenance program called Pure Care. We are always looking for ways to expandin the industry. We are continuing to push the envelope when it comes to innovation. Our internal research and development coordinators, as well as professionals from the community, who specialize in chemistry, physics, microbiology, mold remediation, air quality, etc., are seeking to improve and optimize each and every day. We consider ourselves pioneers in new technologies, strategies and processes to create microbially healthy environments.

Q. What's the one thing you want Pure Maintenance to be known for?

The go-to company when wanting to restore a home or facility to a healthy state. Mold is the worst of the indoor contaminants and the hardest to eliminate, therefore, we want to be known as innovators who have solved the unsolvable problem.

Q. Is there anything you would like to add before we wrap up?

We have conducted several projects with the Army Corps of Engineers and work with dozens of doctors nationwide as a preferred mold remediator. We provide a podcast and blog to provide mold/health education for all and have a national contract with Farmers Insurance.
